Did I say October 25th? Um, how about November 01?
It’s been a stressful week and I need too much decompression before I can successfully get Chapter 16 started.
If anyone needs even the smallest Grace fix, I did upload the Chapter 16 opener last weekend.
It’s officialy the chilly season when I find BeBop snuggling up to various heat sources around the apartment. There is no such thing as “warm enough” to her. Here, she cozies up to an Ikea-esque lamp containing a 40W bulb – which is about twice as many watts as she apparently has. (Yes, she is resting her head against the outer glass.)
Twenty-three.
That’s how many pages are left until Grace is completed.
The next chapter – Sixteen – will be the last that is serialized weekly. It clocks in at eight pages. My plan is to do two-page updates for that chapter so it wraps up before Thanksgiving. (But we all know how things happen, right?)
I will then take some time to draw the last two chapters and post them together when they are completed. My best guess is that those will go up around New Year’s.
And then Grace will be done, done, done.
I’m sad and somewhat relieved that the end is in sight. I’ve enjoyed every minute of it. I won’t know what to do with my Saturdays when this is done. But that dilema is still a ways away. In the meantime, I think I’d best get back to drawing.
