In a flurry of printing, cutting, folding, and stapling, I have more copies of these things matter ready than I had anticipated. (It’s called counting, kris.) So, it’s now available to those so inclined to posses such things! The book is 12 pages, 4″ X 2.5″, and features all the drawings to date from my these things matter series. (Or just scroll back through this here blog.) It’s printed with archival ink on heavy duty matte photo paper. It’s nice stuff! Dare I say that it’s a cute little book? I dare!
All this drawing goodness is $3 for each book. The cost includes postage and packaging. I’ll sign ‘em if you’d like (just ask!) PayPal only, please. If you don’t use PayPal, email me and we’ll see if we can work something out.
I only have a finite number of these books (and I will have them up with me at the Minneapolis Indie Xpo in a few weeks.) so once they’re gone, that’s it.
PayPal/contact email can be found —-> here.
Cat not included.

The ideas for private driveway and hydra happened on the same day, within the span of my lunch hour. While at a stoplight, I looked to my left and saw a bird perched on a post and immediately thought it would make an interesting drawing. Then, while in the pet store I stopped to look at the cats they had for adoption. In one cage was a trio of black cats – abandoned by their owner, the card said. Heartbreaking. They were in a lower cage and were sitting together towards the back. I couldn’t see anything but three sets of green eyes staring back at me, like a feline Hydra. Again, a drawing .
I got back to the office and did these really quick sketches to preserve the ideas. Sometimes, no matter how good they might be, I lose drawing concepts in the mental overload of the every day. Note-taking has become essential.

she said, Chapter Three, page 09 is up.
This page concludes Chapter Three. she said is going on summer vacation as I travel a teeny bit, attend a con, and get some other drawing work done. Of course, I’ll still be posting new drawings and info here along the way. I’m certainly not vacation by any means.
Chapter Four of she said will begin on September 4, 2010.
